Artist Statement
All we have are the memories of the past. Rome is a constant reminder of the tragic past and how great things must eventually come to an end. The ancient city has built around the beautifully curated architecture of which many famous architects around the world have gained much inspiration from the Romans. In these photographs I wanted to show the contrast between whites and blacks particularly by drawing the viewers attention to the architecture rather than using color to tell the story.
