Artist statement:
The iconic lighthouse has been an important symbol in many cultures as it symbolizes navigation through life’s challenges and difficult times. As the light sits atop the lighthouse which beams as a constant ray of hope for whoever makes the endeavor to come to her shores in despair for a new beginning. In these photographs I hope to emphasize the same philosophy of creating hope to the viewers who may be going through challenging times to know the importance of finding the lighthouse in their own life to hold onto.
